About Us

Melania and Tivadar Vass are the parents of this miracle, but also the parents of her sister, Mira, aged 8. Hoping for a better future, Lara’s family now lives in Florida.

Dreams and plans for a better life were shattered in just 3 days, during which time Lara was diagnosed with leukemia on May 31, 2020. It all started with a seemingly harmless rise in temperature, with doctors suspecting a virus. Lara’s condition did not improve, her fever did not decrease, at which point she underwent more detailed investigations, and the specialists will tell us the final diagnosis, news that shook the whole family.

Lara is a 5-year-old girl, from Sălaj origins, who was diagnosed with acute B-cell lymphoblastic leukemia (blood and bone marrow cancer) for which she urgently started a chemotherapy treatment, a treatment that must be followed for 3 years. days to heal. Unfortunately, the cost of hospitalizations, tests and hospitalizations is too high to cover.
